BO BASSETT FACES OLYMPIC CHAMPION VLADIMER KHINCHEGASHVILI

AT REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE IN TAMPA

TAMPA, FL – Real American Freestyle (RAF), the first unscripted professional freestyle wrestling league, today announced that RAF07 will take place on Saturday, March 28 at 8:00 p.m. at Tampa’s Yuengling Center, marking the league’s seventh event in as many months.

 

Four major matches have been announced. One of the headline bouts for RAF07 features Bo Bassett taking on RAF newcomer and globally acclaimed wrestler, Vladimer Khinchegashvili. Bassett is 2-0 in RAF, having defeated Cayden Henschel and Darrion Caldwell, and will now face the 2016 Olympic gold medalist from the Republic of Georgia. Khinchegashvili also won Olympic silver in 2012, gold at the 2015 World Championships, and is a three-time European Champion. 

 

RAF Cruiserweight Champion Kyle Dake will put his title on the line against Parker Keckeisen, the 2024 undefeated NCAA Champion at 184 lbs. Dake most recently retained the belt at RAF05, while Keckeisen earned his title shot after a dominant win over reigning World Champion Zahid Valencia at RAF04.

 

In women’s championship action, RAF Women’s Middleweight Champion Kennedy Blades will defend her title against Milana Dudieva, who makes her Real American Freestyle debut. Blades, undefeated in RAF, is one of the sport’s fastest-rising stars, having earned Olympic silver in Paris at just 20 years old. 

 

RAF07 will also feature a marquee international matchup as Kyle Snyder meets Akhmed Tazhudinov, the 2023 World Champion and 2024 Olympic gold medalist representing Bahrain, in a matchup that underscores RAF’s growing global reach.

RAF’s momentum continues to accelerate following the recent extension of its exclusive media partnership with FOX Nation. Through five completed events, RAF has become one of the platform’s top subscription drivers, generating over 170 billion earned media impressions and 500 million organic social views, while surpassing seven figures in both ticket sales and merchandise revenue. RAF will hold its first ever wrestling clinic on Sunday, March 29, where young fans and aspiring wrestlers will be able to train with and be coached by RAF athletes. Also launching today are RAF Trading Cards: Second Edition, expanding the league’s growing collectibles platform with a limited print run, rare foil parallels and true one-of-one relic cards. The collection features 10,000 cards after the first edition sold-out, with a lucky fan packing the one-of-one card live at the RAF05 fan zone reserved opening. The league has hosted five live events to date – Cleveland (RAF01), State College (RAF02), Chicago (RAF03), Indianapolis (RAF04), Miami (RAF05). Each event builds in attendance and attention, leveraging their prestige to bring together global namesakes and the best-of-the-best in exclusive marquee matches. RAF06 continues this trend when it takes place in Tempe, AZ on Saturday, Feb. 28, co-headlined by Henry Cejudo v Urijah Faber and Arman Tsarukyan v Georgio Poullas.
