RELEASE - ALESSI PROMOTIONS PRESENTS “SATURDAY NIGHT BRAWL III” AT TAMPA’S YUENGLING CENTER

 

TAMPA, FL – Alessi Promotions will once again bring boxing to Tampa’s Yuengling Center with Saturday Night Brawl III on Saturday, November 2. After July’s event electrified fans with non-stop boxing action, Saturday Night Brawl III will bring back crowd-favorite boxers like Iron Alvarez, Sonny Duversonne, Tracy Smith, James Taylor, Joseph Fernandez and Josue Loyola, with more to be announced soon.* Fans will be treated to a boxing experience unlike any other in the area with post-fight interviews, food and beverage experiences and a full night of quality competition featuring some of Florida’s best fighters

Iron Alvarez, Featherweight (8-0-0, 8 KO’s)

Alvarez has continued to make quick work of opponents, including another first-round knockout at Saturday Night Brawl II in July, making it eight straight knockouts while remaining undefeated. Alvarez made his pro debut August 5, 2017 and has since become a force to be reckoned with among Florida boxers.

 

Sonny Duversonne, Welterweight (8-0-2, 5 KO’s)

Sarasota Boxing Club

 

Nicknamed “Prime Time” and known for being extremely aggressive in the ring, Duversonne has been undefeated in nine fights over a 16-month pro career. He will return to the Yuengling center looking to improve to 9-0-2 and taking another step in his young career.

 

Tracy Smith, Cruiserweight (1-0-1, 1 KO)

Air Force veteran and 21-year Polk County Sheriff’s Office veteran, Smith made his professional debut with a KO win at the Yuengling Center during the March Saturday Night Brawl event. He posted an impressive 32-1 (21 KO’s) as an amateur, including an undefeated streak since 2005.

 

James “JT” Taylor, Lightweight (3-0-0, 3 KO)

Taylor is known as a respected striking coach for top UFC contender’s Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Alan Patrick. The Georgia native owns the Teknique Boxing Gym in Minneola, FL and works to promote physical fitness through the sport of boxing to all age groups.

 

Joseph Fernandez, Welterweight (11-3-3, 2 KO)

Ali Tareh's Fight Fitness Center, Pinellas Park


Fighting out of St. Petersburg FL via Springfield MS, Fernandez boasts an 11-3-3 professional record. He currently trains out of Ali Tareh’s Fight Fitness Center in Pinellas Park. This 6’0” southpaw of Puerto Rican heritage is on a three-fight win streak including huge wins against fellow 140-pound prospect Tobias Green (7-2) and Philadelphia prospect Jerome Rodriguez on May 11, 2019. Joseph’s crowd-pleasing style consists of volumes of punches and a steady body attack.

 

Josue Loyola, Welterweight 4-1-0 (2 KO)

Winter Haven, FL


Loyola brings his flamboyant style and vocal fan base back to the Florida boxing ring after recovering from an Injury. Trending upward with his three consecutive wins that he garnered in 2018, Loyola will be looking for a minor title by the end of 2019. He looks to show other fighters in the 135-140 weight classes that he is back and a force to be reckoned with once again.
