Listen To “Take Me Back To Eden” Album

TAMPA, FL – Sleep Token is pleased to announce their Spring 2024 headline North American Tour will make a stop at Tampa’s Yuengling Center on Monday, May 6 at 8:00 p.m. with Empire State Bastard.

Sleep Token released their third studio album, Take Me Back To Eden, via Spinefarm, in May of 2023. Listen here. The band also enjoyed a sold-out North American tour in fall of 2023. Additionally, Revolver is celebrating Sleep Token as its Artist of the Year with a special collector's edition. Get it here.

Sleep Token wants to give fans, not scalpers, the best chance to buy tickets at face value. For fans who purchase tickets through Ticketmaster for the "Teeth of God" tour and can't attend, they will have the option to resell their ticket to other fans at the original price paid on Ticketmaster's Face Value Exchange. To help protect the Face Value Exchange, Sleep Token has chosen to make tickets for this tour mobile only and restricted from transfer.

ABOUT SLEEP TOKEN

2023 was the year of Sleep Token and 2024 is looking to be much the same. Their album has generated 400 million streams while standout single "The Summoning" has generated 150 million streams. The track trended on Twitter and took the No. 1 spot on a host of international Spotify viral charts, as well as being selected as a "YouTube Trending Artist on The Rise" and was featured on YouTube's homepage.

The unprecedented accolades keep rolling in such as Sleep Token has never played a headline show in the U.K. that hasn’t sold-out, their single "Aqua Regia" has picked up consistent airplay on the Radio One Future Sounds show hosted by Clara Amfo and huge popstar Demi Lovato has shared Sleep Token's music with her 153 million Instagram followers.

Sleep Token consistently smashes boundaries that they refused to acknowledge in the first place.  Though Sleep Token notoriously does not speak to the press, out of Subscribe Past Issues Translate necessity, not ego or gimmick, media can't help but write about the phenomenon. Reporting on the band's every move, NME said "Sleep Token offers their fans an entire world to immerse themselves in if they so wish. It's a place of escapism, and the foundation of a huge fan community that's dedicated to studying the band's creativity. While they have the same fervor as any other fandom, there's still a notable difference." Metal Hammer called them "the most exciting band in metal right now."

ABOUT EMPIRE STATE BASTARD

Having recently released their widely celebrated debut album, Rivers of Heresy, Empire State Bastard is led by Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro) and Mike Vennart (Biffy Clyro live guitarist and solo artist, ex-Oceansize), and features the legendary Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Testament, Mr. Bungle) on drums and Naomi Macleod (Bitch Falcon) rounding out the live line-up on bass. The concept for Empire State Bastard emerged when Neil and Vennart would spend downtime on tour sitting at the back of their bus sharing the heaviest, most avant-garde and confrontational music they could find. Now, a decade on from its conception, the project has finally come to fruition with the release of Rivers of Heresy, a collection of songs which adventurously probes slamming hardcore in the vein of Siege; the frenetic, visceral thrash of Slayer; the claustrophobic sludge of Melvins; the freeform vocal dexterity of Mike Patton; and the gargantuan stoner riffs of Sleep. Empire State Bastard is a band that’s rooted in the tradition of metal’s forefathers but informed by more recent waves of leftfield aggression.
